The daily number of positive COVID-19 tests has declined over the past six weeks, although the case counts have not yet approached the low-water mark set in June and July of this year.

On Aug. 24, Huntington County saw an all-time high of 88 confirmed positive COVID-19 cases, followed by 71 more the following day, according to data from the Indiana State Department of Health. Since that time, those numbers have consistently decreased.
