The Huntington County Community School Corporation’s Board of School Trustees approved a motion to seek bids for construction of a new athletic complex at Huntington North High School during their meeting earlier this week.

Construction on the proposed facility is projected to begin by May 10 and reach its completion in November, according to Superintendent Charles Daugherty. The motion was approved unanimously by a 6 – 0 vote as board member Matt Melcher was not present at the meeting. The project is estimated to cost $7.5 million.
