Members of Stranded at the Drive-In begin to cover their equipment to protect it from impending rain shower on June 12. The band planned to return to Huntington in September for Music in the City’s rain-out date, but the Downtown Business Association announced this week that the concert was canceled.

On Wednesday, the Downtown Business Association announced the cancellation of the organization’s final scheduled concert of the summer.

DBA president Mike Richard said that the Music in the City event, planned for Sept. 11, had been removed from the schedule. That concert date was originally designated as a rainout date, and the band Stranded at the Drive in had planned to perform that evening after their first show was cut short.
