Pathfinder Services, a Huntington-based not-for-profit that works to help people with disabilities with their employment, housing, education and other areas, announced that it has eliminated the sub-minimum wage for employees with disabilities.

The new policy went into effect at the end of July and will result in all employees at the company earning at least the federal minimum wage. Danielle Tips, who became President and CEO of Pathfinder this year following the retirement of longtime CEO John Niederman, said that the company had been considering the change for a while.
