Although Martin Luther King Jr. Day has come and gone, we must challenge ourselves to continue his fight every day of our lives.

America is very different now than it was in 1968 when Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated, but unfortunately the hatred that Dr. King fought against still remains in our world. It is up to every one of us to confront this hatred and make positive change in our communities because racism should have no place in modern society.
