After suffering a disappointing loss to Taylor earlier in the week, the #RV HU men’s basketball team out lasted Mount Vernon (4-6, 0-4) Saturday afternoon by handing their hosts an 81-65 loss. Roads wins don’t come easy in the Crossroads League with today’s victory proving the Foresters’ first in Ariel Arena since Coach Alford took over the reins in 2020.

Lane Sparks had the best game of his young career by erupting for 30 points. The 6-3 sophomore missed just three shots on the day which included burying four of his five three-pointers. He took charge of the final six minutes of the first half to turn things around for the Foresters.
