SPRING ARBOR, Mich. — The Huntington women’s basketball team collected their second straight conference win on the road over Spring Arbor 76-67 Wednesday night at the McDonald Athletic Center.
The Foresters took care of business right away by scoring the game’s first nine points to establish and never give up the lead. It was a 16-6 advantage after the first ten minutes. The guests extended their lead to 18 at 29-11 with just under four minutes left in the half on a Celeste Ryman trifecta. It proved the night’s largest disparity before the Cougars closed out the frame on an 11-2 run to head into the locker room down 31-22.
