Huntington North’s boys basketball team earned a victory at home on Saturday afternoon, defeating New Haven 71-64.
The Vikings utilized their usual defensive approach, packing the paint and forcing the Bulldogs into long shots. The approach was effective, as New Haven only connected on three of 20 shots behind the arc. Meanwhile, the Vikings equaled their opponents’ three-point makes in just five shots.
