Viking quarterback Keagan Landrum prepares for the snap during the third quarter of the team’s victory over Jay County on Aug. 27. Against Bellmont, Landrum completed four of his six pass attempts for 123 yards and a touchdown.

DECATUR — Huntington North unleashed more than 400 yards of total offense in a five-touchdown performance to top Bellmont 34-17 Friday in Northeast Eight football.

The bruising effort gives the Vikings (2-3, 1-2 NE8) their first win in league play and momentum going forward. For the host Braves (0-5, 0-3) it stretches their four-year losing streak to 24 games – and it comes on their Homecoming night.
