CONVERSE — A fast start and stingy defense proved to be a winning recipe for the Huntington North boys soccer team at Oak Hill Thursday night in an extremely physical and sometimes contentious match between the two skilled sides.

Vikings’ senior Braden Estep sent the opening kickoff deep into the attacking end where junior Aric Hosler gained possession and scored the first goal just 15 seconds in. Huntington North parlayed its early shot of momentum into a 3-1 win over the Golden Eagles.
