Huntington North High School runner Addy Wiley announced her verbal commitment to attend the University of Colorado yesterday afternoon.

Wiley, who has won three state championships in track and field for the Vikings and recently competed in the cross country state finals, made the decision a few days prior to the beginning of the period in which high school athletes can formally sign to compete in college. The signing period for non-football and basketball NCAA Division I athletes will open on Wednesday, and Wiley will be able to formally seal her commitment by signing a National Letter of Intent after that time.
